The mentoring programmes at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Business offer students the opportunity to be guided by experienced professionals during their final year of study, helping them strengthen their connection to professional practice.

Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Business offers mentoring programmes in most majors. The core of the programme consists of individual meetings between mentors and mentees. These meetings are based on the personal goals defined by the mentees (participating students) at the beginning of the programme. Typical topics include career paths, the mentor's day-to-day work, future career aspirations, and other professional development issues.

The mentoring programme has been successfully offered by the Department of Business for more than ten years and enjoys great popularity among both students and mentors. To date, more than 600 students have participated in the programme, supported by over 150 volunteer mentors.

Applications for the 2025/2026 programme are open from Monday, 17 February 2025.

The mentoring programmes run from May until the end of the autumn semester and are generally intended for full-time students. Further information can be found under the respective major.
